Early in my Alpine gliding endeavor, I learned about how quickly thunderstorms can develop in the Alps. This footage was recorded on 25 July 2012 (not been previously published). Looking at this 9 years later I am amazed that I decided to go fly at that time. I am not particularly proud of this flight, but the experience was engraved into my brain and will hopefully allow other people to learn from it as well.
