The EGU is delighted to announce that a glider-specific “season opener” event will take place online, at 19:00 CET on Wednesday 23 March 2022. This is a part of a very welcomed and new initiative from EASA to host safety-related season opener events for all major “general aviation” environments. The session will last around an hour and will be an informal discussion addressing a number of key topics that are particularly relevant to glider pilots. We look forward to meeting many gliders pilots and others from across Europe for what we hope will be a thought-provoking and instructive online session.
